I have resurrected this blog to provide a place to publish supplemental and supporting resources for a talk I am giving at EMF 2026. I will update with the slides and eventual recording of the talk when it is published.
The talk itself came from my interest in understanding more about the mechanical engineering behind knitting machines. I have a relatively deep understanding of hand knitting, but a more limited view of how those techniques translate to machines. EMF provided an excuse to give myself a deadline to do some research.
